- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FEMA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The FEMA Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA) program provides short-term lodging assistance to eligible individuals and households of Presidential Declared disasters or emergencies. The authority for this program is under Section 403, 42 U.S.C. 5170b and Section 502, 42 U.S.C. 5192, Category B, Emergency Protective Measures of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster relief and Emergency Assistance Act, as amended. Additional authority is under CFR 44, 206 Subpart D Federal Assistance to Individuals and Households 206.117 Housing Assistance. As a result, FEMA is interested in determining if there are companies that have the following capabilities: •Have extensive experience in working with the transitional sheltering assistance program in a research environment; •Have significant experience in overseeing designs that are in compliance with the Standards; •Have significant experience in preparing material for publication; •Have developed requirements for Transitional Sheltering Assistance are in compliance with the Standards; •Have experience and knowledge of the Transitional Sheltering Assistance so that they can bring together a group of subject matter experts to support the design effort; •Have experience working with government agencies regarding Transitional Sheltering Assistance NACIS Code related to this RFI is 561599 - All Other Travel Arrangement and Reservation Services Please provide a capability statement, and/or letter of interest addressing all of the points above.
