- Sources Sought SOURCES SOUGHT This is a sources sought announcement for market analysis to determine the availability of potential interested vendors. No awards will be made from this notice. No solicitation is available at this time. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron located at Cannon Air Force, New Mexico, is seeking sources interested in a possible award to provide mounting hardward and associated articulating armature requred to hold a whiteboard inside the MQ-9 cockpit for AFB, NM. The minimum requirement the product must meet are as follows: Articulating armature to hold hardware with a 200mm compatible VESA screw-attachment interface. This mount must allow for the tilting of the VESA mount in both horizontal and vertical planes of at least 45 degrees, as well as an additional capability for three-axis articulation (horizontal, vertical, and depth), with at least 6 inches of distance between each available axial plane of movement to ensure continued adjustability with devices mounted to the VESA interface that have up to a 18 inch width and 24 inch height, for a total of at least 18 inches of available extension from mounting interface. Fully extended, mounting armature must have a minimum of a 11 lb holding capacity while still allowing full freedom of movement in all directions. The horizontal movement of the device must allow for at least 120 degrees of lateral angle change in each direction from a straight and fully-extended position. This articulation may be segmented to allow for the required degrees of movement. The initial plane of articulation at the pole-mount interface for the articulating armature must allow for the vertical positioning of the arm both up and down vertically sufficient to enable at least 45 degrees in each direction. This vertical dimension of mobility must include a variable tension to allow the articulating armature to balance with varying weighs of attached device. Similarly, all other planes of movement must be adjustable to ensure customizable tension levels and to ensure mounted equipment can remain in place following positioning. The armature must also must be mountable on a 2" diameter vertical pole with adjustable tension sufficient to allow for single-location detachment from pole interface with either a compression or screw-type clamp non-slip interface. Cumulatively, armature must allow for device placement by the operator anywhere in a 2' x 2' x2' cube of space, as would be laterally aligned with the pole mounting point center. Supporting the articulating armature as outlined, a 2" mounting pole must be included with bolting floor flange sufficient to support 100 lbs of lateral load in any direction when bolted to the floor. Pole must be at least 5 feet high and allow for adjustable placement of articulating armature. All components should be coated with black anodized finish for scratch and rust resistance.
