Description
Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District is seeking System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that can provide the following: Leadership Development Program (LDP). The overall objective of the program is to help employees learn, grow, and develop their leadership potential and enable them to be effective managers and leaders. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal or quote or an invitation for bid. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses interested and capable of performing this work. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor must be able to provide an LDP Program equivalent to at least an undergraduate college program, and award 3 or more accredited college credit hours, 3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 30 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). (CEU are defined by the International Organization of Continuing Education and Training, and PDH hours are defined by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.) Upon satisfactory completion of this program, Participants shall be awarded the appropriate CHs, CEUs or PDHs and will be given a Certificate of Completion suitable for framing. All correspondence, meetings, instructions and readings will be conducted in the English language. The program will consist of eight to twelve employees who are typically college educated and are mostly at, or near mid-career. Disciplines represented include science, engineering and administration. The program is intended to foster group dynamics, improve the Participants' management techniques and styles, and stimulate their personal and career growth through guided and self-development activities. The outcome of this development program is: •Heightened awareness of one's strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to leadership and management; •Development and refinement of skills necessary to be an effective leader-manager, such as interpersonal communication, conflict management, innovation, situation leadership, stress management, values and ethics, management of change, budgeting, and related topics; •Enhanced knowledge of how to be an effective team player, and •Greater insight into the visions, values, missions, and culture of the Rock Island District and the Corps of Engineers. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this market research by emailing the required information below to the point of contact listed above. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes. 1.Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address and cage code 2.Capabilities Statement indicating the contractor can meet the requirements within specified scope. 3.Company's interest in bidding/proposing on the solicitation when issued. 4.Company's business category and size. 5.Company's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity, include comparable work performed to include: Brief description of the project, customer name, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar value of the project- provide at least three (3) recent examples. Past Performance Questionnaire (Form PPQ-0), found as Attachment A, can be used to assist with providing a company's capabilities. However, the use of this form is not required. PLEASE SHOW CAPABILITES IN DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF SIMILAR SCOPE.
