- N00164-16-R-GR83 - AEGIS 10kW Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) and 13kW Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) - Production and Repair - PSC 5960 - NAICS 334419 - Closing Date- 03/01/2016 - 4:00pm EST Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for 10kW Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) which meets the requirements of NAVSEA Drawing 53711-5730321 and WS-21607. These requirements also include: production and evaluation/ repair/ upgrade of the 10kW TWT and 13kW TWT production and evaluation/repair, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) accountability/ support/ repair, engineering and technical services support a Product Improvement Program (PIP); configuration management, and quality, testing, and program management support. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the following contract line item numbers (CLINs) is anticipated. CLIN 0001 - 10kW TWT Manufacture and Evaluation/Repair/Upgrade CLIN 0002 - 13kW TWT Manufacture and Evaluation/Repair CLIN 0003 - Support and Repair of Government Furnished Equipment CLIN 0004 - Engineering and Technical Support Services CLIN 0005 - Not Separately Priced (NSP) Data This procurement is anticipated to be solicited on a sole source basis because there is only one responsible source in accordance with (IAW) FAR subpart 6.302-1. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Teledyne due to a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements through any other source. Place of performance is anticipated to be at the Contractors facility in Rancho Cordova, CA. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
