- Description
- The Inter-American Foundation (IAF), through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, intends to award a fixed price contract with fixed rates per audit and fixed hourly rates for additional audit services, for IAF grantees in Mexico. The contract will be for a base period and four one-year option periods. Among the Grant Auditor requirements, the Contractor shall be a licensed accountant, accounting firm or organization with a full-time physical presence in Mexico, and have legal status to operate in Mexico for the duration of the contract. The Contractor (including staff) shall have language proficiency in Spanish. - Among the tasks the Auditor will perform are the following: conduct audits in accordance with the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and conduct orientation/initial assessments of grantees receiving IAF funds. The Auditor must have a full-time physical presence in Mexico. The grant auditors must be able to travel to remote parts of Mexico to conduct fieldwork at grantees' locations. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. DESCRIPCIÓN en Espanol: La Fundación Interamericana, por medio del Departamento del Tesoro, la Dependencia de la Servicio Fiscal, se propone adjudicar un precio fijo contrato con tarifas fijas por auditoría y fija tarifas por hora para los servicios de auditoría adicional, para los beneficiarios de la IAF en Mexico. El contracto será por uno periodo base y cuatro periodos opcionales de un año cada uno. Entre los requerimientos del Auditor de Donaciones, el Contratista será una firma contable, contador, u organización de auditoría autorizada para ejercer que cuente con presencia física a tiempo completo en Mexico, y tendrá condición jurídica que le permita operar en todo Mexico durante la vigencia del contrato. El Contratista (y su personal) deberá tener fluidez en el idioma español. - Entre las tareas el Auditor realizará, se encuentran las siguientes: auditorias de acuerdo con los normas de auditoria gubernamental generalmente aceptadas (GAGAS) y orientación/evaluaciones iniciales a proyectos que la IAF financia. El Auditor debe tener una presencia física a tiempo completo en Mexico. El Contratista debe estar dispuesto a viajar a zonas remotas de Mexico para realizar trabajo de campo en el lugar físico donde se encuentran los donatarios.
