- SOL: W9124M-16-B-0003 DES: INSTALL CANOPY, BUILDING 148 CDC, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Stewart, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), to award a single firm fixed price contract to INSTALL A CANOPY, BUILDING 148 CDC, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with the Canopy installation completed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: Provide complete design, fabrication, and installation of aluminum canopy system and related foundation system. Canopy system will extend approximately 280' from CDC entry to the parking area. Canopy system shall be 8' wide to provide cover for an existing concrete walkway. Canopy will vary in height to provide a minimum of 8' clearance between the walkway and underside of canopy beams. Canopy shall be provided with ceiling mount lighting. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Hubzone Businesses under NAICS code 238390. The small business size standard is $15 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Contract performance time is 120 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Information concerning the Hubzone program can be found at http://www.sba.gov/content/hubzone. Solicitation Number W9124M-16-B-0003, will be available through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring ASFI for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about FEB 26th, 2016. In order to be eligible for award All Bidders MUST: Be registered in the Central Contractors Registration Database and ORCA both of which have been consolidated in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration for both systems may be accomplished at www.sam.gov Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid.
