Description THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/Request for Information (RFI). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation part 10.002(iii) the U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify commercially available market sources capable of providing Spare Parts with full traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s, Messier Dowty France (F0189), Airbus Helicopter France (F0210), and Airbus Group France (F5442). Vendors are requested to read the RFI in its entirety to ensure information submittals are complete. Specific components are listed below. Nomenclature: Cage Code: F6101 NSN P/N Rod End, Ball Bearing 3120-14-040-0598 CN6MESP6 Cable 1620-14-386-5647 D23956000 Bearing, Plain, Rod, E 3120-14-476-4387 19655 Bearing Ball Rod, E 3110-14-311-4145 A0212CD20E1AR Responses should include the following: a) name and address of contractor; b) Cage Code, c) point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address; d) list of all items that can be provided with full traceability to the OEMs; e) state whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413, f) GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses should be submitted to Isaac.L.Brothers@uscg.mil. Responses must be received no later than 11February 2016 at 1:15 PM EST This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this RFI for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation or if a solicitation will be issued. All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow up information requests.
