- Clinic Operations, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service (NPS), Intermountain Region (IMR), Arizona Major Acquisition Buying Office (AZ MABO) has a requirement for Clinic Operations at Grand Canyon National Park. This is a best-value procurement and is solicited as Unrestricted ¿ Full and Open. Various evaluation factors will be used, to include: Technical Capability, Past Performance, Subcontracting Plan, and Price. Proposals are sought from all qualified firms. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide primary, urgent, preventative and employment related health care at the Grand Canyon Clinic and support the operation of the Grand Canyon ¿s Emergency Services Branch. Visits can exceed 6,000 visits per year; historical estimates are included in the solicitation documents. Contractor shall provide at least 90% of the services to meet patient and community needs, accept a broad range of payment forms, provide pharmaceutical services necessary to support clinic operations and the common needs of patients, provide janitorial services to maintain the health clinic, manage medical waste, and related operations. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The National Park Service intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The National Park Service contemplates a contract term of a base period of one (1) year with options for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. NAICS CODE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this procurement is 621498 ¿ All Other Outpatient Care Centers; Small Business Standards - $20.5 Million. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 2 March 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park. Interested parties shall meet in the parking lot of the Park Service Headquarters building, South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park. Contractor planning to attend this pre-solicitation meeting shall contact via email sherry_packard@nps.gov to ensure access to the Park. No more than three (3) representatives per firm may attend this meeting, due to space availability. To enter the Park for this meeting, enter using the farthest left lane and inform the attendant that you have official business at the Headquarters Building. NOTE: RSVP must be done prior to Monday, 29 February 2016 to ensure access to the Park for this meeting. Individual tours or meetings will not be conducted nor permitted. RESPONSE TIME AND AWARD: The anticipated response time for submission of all proposals will be 23 March 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Mountain Standard Time. The method in which proposals are to be submitted and the criteria used to evaluate quotations will be posted in the forthcoming solicitation. REGISTRATION: All offerors are to have a Dun & Bradstreet Number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, have a NAICS Code of 621498 listed in their SAM profile, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications in order to be awarded a contract; therefore, if you are not already registered, active, and completed your Representations and Certifications at https://www.sam.gov, it is strongly advised that you do so at this time. Failure on the part of the successful offeror to fulfill these requirements by the time the Contracting Officer makes award may result in award of the contract being made to the next otherwise successful offeror.
