- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information and Technology, Region 3, Telecommunications Business Office requires Local Exchange Carrier telecommunication data services consisting of Metro-E circuits point-to-point (10, 100, and 1000 millions of bits per second [mbps]) to Region 3 sites in Gainesville, Florida. The Metro-E circuits will provide the necessary metropolitan area network based on ethernet standards in the Region 3, Gainesville, Florida locations by connecting subscribers to a larger service network. Gainesville, FL 32601 "201 SE 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601 "1604 SE 3rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601 "1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32601 "105 NW 75th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601 "4805 SW 34th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608 "5415 SW 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608 "5533 SW 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608 "5571 SW 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608 "6020 NW 4th Place, Gainesville, FL 32607 "620 NW 16th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601 "7019 NW 11th Place, Gainesville, FL 32605 "825 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601 The period of performance is 12 months from the date of award with four, 12-month option periods. The Contractor shall provide telecommunication services at the facility 24 hours per day, seven days per week with maximum service availability. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517110. The anticipated award date is March 1, 2016. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such. This notification shall close on March 1, 2016.
