Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, DC intends to negotiate with the National Academy of Science, Institute of Medicine, 500 5th Street, N.W., Washington, DC., 20001 to support the activities of the Federal Facilities Council (FFC) Board on Infrastructure and the Constructed Environment (BICE) of the National Academies Division on Engineering and Physical Science (DEPS). The FFC program addresses concerns of the sponsoring agencies by identifying and advancing technologies, processes and management practices that improve the planning, design, construction, management, operation and evaluation of federal facilities to enable more effective utilize of limited resources. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a Request for Proposal.
