- The FAA, Western Service Area intends to award a contract to a qualified, responsive contractor to perform complete Tree Trimming services. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract. The tiered order of precedence for considering offers is (from first to last): Tier 1 Certified 8(a) Business Tier 2 Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Tier 3 All Other Small Business; Tier 4 - Large Business 1. A determination of insufficient competition or unreasonable price will be made before the next tier is evaluated. 2. Directions on tiered evaluation are outlined in Section M, in addition to evaluation factors for award. -Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price -Service Contract Act Wage Determination Rates Apply -Offers Due: MARCH 15, 2016 at 2:00PM PACIFIC TIME -NAICS Code: 561730 Landscape Services, $7.5 million Summary of Services: Base Period: April 18, 2016 through September 30, 2016, plus 4 option years. DETAILS FOR ATTENDING SITE VISIT: Three (3) site visits are scheduled due to the limitation on the number of people that can attend the site visit at one time. A maximum of 4 people are allowed at one time for the site visit. FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. SITE VISIT SCHEDULE: February 23, 2016 @ 9:00am (HST)- Hawaii-Aleutian Time February 24, 2016 @ 9:00am (HST) February 25, 2016 @ 9:00am (HST) You must complete the attached HCF Visitor Access Form 2015-2 (See Section J, Attachment #3) and submit to the FAA Point of Contact listed below prior to attending the site visit: a. The meeting point for the site visit is: FAA Honolulu Control Facility (HCF) Hickman Air Force Base 760 Worchester Avenue Honolulu, HI 96818 b. To attend the site visit, advance notice by e-mail is required by February 22, 2016 at 2:PM HST to the FAA Point of Contact identified below. You are required to provide your name, company name and driver s license number, state, and must be a US citizen for facility access. You must complete the attached HCF Visitor Access Form 2015-2 (Attachment #3) by February 22, 2016, and send it with your request to the FAA Point of Contact listed below prior to attending the site visit. Notice to Attendees: Records of attendance are subject to public release.
