Contract Award Date: TBD 15. Contractor: TBD Description: This is not a solicitation, request for quote, or proposal. No contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of shipboard communication, Local Area Network (LAN), and associated Information Technology (IT) systems aboard Military Sealift Command (MSC) vessels. Services shall be available 24-hours per day regardless of vessel location and status, unless otherwise directed by the Squadron Commander or Contracting Officer. Equipment maintained under this contract shall be capable of performing the required functions 24-hours per day, each day of a given year. The services provided under this contract shall be for the Flagship, Alternate-Flagship (Alt-Flagship), or other MSC vessels in each of two squadrons. Vessels may be deployed to any location worldwide. The requirement includes a 365-day Base Period and four (4) one-year option periods to commence on 01 October 2016. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 29 March 2016 with an estimated closing date of 30 April 2016. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FEDBIZOPS (https://www.fbo.gov/) under solicitation number N32205-16-R-3001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All respondents must provide a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 811213. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice and the Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received for this notice. See attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further detail. MSC encourages industry comment and suggestions regarding the PWS that could result in more efficient performance or cost savings to the Government.
