- This sources sought announcement is published for market research purposes only. This market research will be used to help identify potential sources under NAICS code 332710. This should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach or otherwise reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. The incorporated Statement of Work (SOW) is a draft for review. A new revised SOW may be issued with a solicitation at a later date. Statement of Work (SOW): Machine the provided Piston Rod in accordance with (IAW) the below: A Periscope Fairing Hoist Cylinder Piston Rod (Item 2 of DWG 6744235 Rev D) will be provided. Provide vendor services to accomplish FCB H-88-3-025 to the supplied Piston Rod working IAW DWG 7486978 Rev A and provide a finished Item 2 of DWG 7486978 Rev A. *Vendors interested in providing this service who are not currently in possession of the referenced drawings may contact the Contract Specialist to obtain them. Drawings will only be provided to vendors with an active CAGE Code who do not appear on the Excluded Parties List. In accordance with FAR 15.201e, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Only responders who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: •1. Able to provide Past Performance information to demonstrate capability. •2. Has an active CAGE Code with the Central Contractor Registration. •3. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List Responses should include the following information: •1. Responder's contact information including company name. P.O.C. name, telephone number, fax number, email address, street address, CAGE, and TIN •2. Estimated lead time from date of award to date of completion Please email your responses to Christina Allaire at christina.allaire@navy.mil no later than 1:00 PM ET on 24 February 2016. All responses shall be limited to 15 pages or less and pricing information should not be submitted at this time
