Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a competitive contract for the VA, Office of Information and Technology, Digital Service. VA TAC intends to award a hybrid Time and Materials / Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a consolidated web portal (Vets.gov) for all Veteran services to facilitate improved access to care and information in support of the VA Secretary's "MyVA" Initiative; which is designed to provide Veterans with a "seamless, integrated and responsive customer service experience." VA launched the public beta version of Vets.gov on November 11, 2015. VA has a requirement to procure contractor support for the agile design, development, enhancement, testing, release and maintenance of various aspects of Vets.gov, including but not limited to platform and website design and development, content creation, application development, and identity authentication integration. This acquisition will be solicited as a total set-aside for small businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511 with a size standard of $27.5M. This notice will close on March 3, 2016. It is the intention of VA to issue a solicitation against this synopsis prior to March 3, 2016.
