Description

The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA Medical Center in Ft. Meade, SD to interested sources to provide the following line items: ITEM # 1 Non-Recessed Floor Scales Furnish and install two (2) each new floor scales with a maximum weight capacity of 3000 pounds, recessed within the floor. ITEM # 2 Soiled Sorting Conveyor System and Weigh Carts Furnish and install one (1) new system. ITEM # 3 Refurbish Semi-Automated Soil Side Monorail System Rebuild Automated Monorail System on soiled side of the textile care processing facility. ITEM # 4 Semi-Automatic Cart Washer/Dryer Furnish and install one (1) each new semi-automatic linen cart washer/dryer system. ITEM # 5 400/500 LB Washer Extractor Furnish and install two (2) each new 400/500 LB multi pocket washer extractors with total waste water heat recovery capability. ITEM # 6 200/300 LB Washer Extractor Furnish and install one (1) each new 200/300 LB multi pocket washer extractors with total waste water heat recovery capability. ITEM # 7 Laundry Ancillary Support Waste Heater Recovery/Water Storage/Pumping/Reuse System: Furnish and install all new items and components necessary for the waste water heat recovery/water storage/pumping/ reuse systems. ITEM # 8 Air Compressor and Air Refrigerated Dryer System Furnish and install two (2) new 30/40 HP rotary screw, air-cooled air compressor and two (2) Air Refrigerated Air Dryers. ITEM # 9 200/300 POUND GAS HEATED DRYING AND CONDITIONING TUMBLER WITH DRYER TAKE-AWAY CONVEYOR AND EXTERNAL LINT COLLECTION SYSTEM Furnish and install two (2) each new 200/300 pound gas heated dryers with external lint Collection. ITEM # 10 90/100 Pound Washer Extractors with Steam Injection Furnish and install one (1) each new front-loading soft mount washer-extractor on the clean side of the laundry. ITEM # 11 110/120 GAS HEATED DRYING AND CONDITIONING TUMBLER WITH INTERNAL LINT COLLECTION Furnish and install one (1) each new 110/120 pound GAS heated drying and conditioning tumbler with internal lint collection. ITEM # 12 Refurbish Semi Automated Clean Side Side Monorail System Refurbish Automated Monorail System on Clean side of the textile care processing facility. ITEM # 13 Garment Tunnel Finisher Furnish and install one (1) each new gas heated garment tunnel finisher. ITEM # 14 Small Piece Folders Furnish and install two (2) each new small piece folding machines. ITEM # 15 Large Piece Folder Furnish and install one (1) each, Large Piece Folder ITEM # 16 Thermal Fluid Flatwork Ironing Systems Furnish and install one (1) each new thermal fluid ironing system. ITEM # 17 Clean Side Clean Take-Away Conveyor System Furnish and install one (1) system new on the clean side of the laundry. ITEM # 18 Refurbish Existing Flow Rack Refurbish the existing linen flow rack system. This equipment is to be installed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Ft. Meade, SD. This procurement will be advertised as a Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 333318 and Small Business Size Standard 1000 employees are applicable to determine business size standard.
