- *** THIS POSTING IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL*** The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Carson is issuing this sources sought notice to identify the interest and ability of businesses to provide the Fort Carson Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) with 802.16 Go Box imminent failure replacement. This requirement is to provide the Fort Carson RNEC with the replacement of existing 802.16 hardware that enables RNEC to extend critical services to the customer at various locations throughout Fort Carson Colorado (FCCO) training areas and extended training areas, Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site (PCMS), where fiber is unavailable. Vendors MUST be able to meet the requirements set forth by FIPS 140-2 in order to meet the critical needs of this requirement. If FIPS 140-2 compliance cannot be met by any vendor, then that vendor is not a potential source for this requirement. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334419 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The table below provides a list of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), item description, and quantities of each CLIN that will be needed to fulfill this requirement; meeting FIPS 140-2 compliance of course. Complete delivery address will be provided at the time of award. This requirement is solely for the quantities of the materials as specified in the table above and the delivery of those same materials to the above location. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All parties are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this sources sought, please indicate your: (1) interest and ability to do the above work (2) if your business is 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and/or HUBZone certified, large, or small. (3) Past experience delivering this type of supply. (5) Company information to include Company Name, Physical address, Phone Number, and E-mail address. Submit this information to the POC below, preferably via e-mail. If enough responses are received in response to this sources sought notice, the combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued on or about 25 February 2016. The announcement will be made available through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at https://www.fbo.gov at that time. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the combined synopsis solicitation. All vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or they will not be eligible for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM website at www.sam.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a purchase order or multiple purchase orders nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
