- Solicitation Statement of Work This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and award as prescribed under FAR 13.1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG23-16-Q-N50110 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. This SOLICITATION is set aside 100% for Small Business and all reasonable, responsible offers will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 Other Aircraft Part and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and standard size standard is 1000 employees. The parts listed on the solicitation must be new condition only. Used, reconditioned, overhauled, or remanufactured material is not acceptable. This requirement is to be awarded to a responsible source that has access to original OEM parts and can provide traceability. Proposed procurement for the following item: Description of the Requirement ACTUATOR, OIL COOLER NSN: 1680-01-497-7142, 3 EA P/N: 8656M2. BACKGROUND The United States Coast Guard C-27J program requires spare aircraft parts for the fleet. Only the exact part numbers listed on the Purchase Order will be accepted. This requirement must be restricted to authorized sources of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or firms who can effectively demonstrate their ability to provide the components and obtain the proprietary data required meeting form, fit, and function of the units. The Coast Guard requires that distributors or other potential sources be ASA-100 certified, or in compliance with other quality systems listed in FAA Advisory Circular 00-56A. These requirements are necessary in order for the Coast Guard to maintain the capability to adequately support all Coast Guard missions. The solicitation is an RFQ and will be available at the link provided in this notice. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, shall be considered. Vendor determination is going to be the one that can provided Lowest Price Technically. FOB Destination Only. Quotes may be submitted electronically to the e-mails provided on this solicitation.
