Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The solicitation number is N00189-16-T-0141 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-86 and DFARS Change Notice 20151230. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 332322 and the Small Business Standard of 500 employees. Line Item 0001: the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center - Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: ONE (1) EACH 21 BALLISTIC SCUTTLE. FABRICATE SCUTTLE, BALLISTIC, STEEL 21 DIAMETER, RAISED, 4 DOG, 3/4 PANEL, ABOVE AND BELOW OPERATED, 14 PSI, SPRING BALANCE WITH RAMPS IAW DRAWING 8100-1253-0238 REV AL ASSEMBLY 062, BIW CATALOG #22184-130. SCUTILE SHALL BE SYSTEM 2 METAL SPRAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH BIW CORROSION CONTROL DESIGN MANUAL SECTION 624, ITEM 52 SUMMARY SHEET 94 AND ITEM 63 SUMMERY SHEET 105. Delivery: FOB Destination. Ship to: Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) 9170 Second St, Bldg CEP-200, Norfolk, VA 23501 Period of Performance: 150 Days from award date. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
