Description

Special Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Pentax Medical Company for a Visi-Pitch IV with corresponding ADSV software for use at the Charlotte Health Care Center, 3506 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28208. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. It is the Government's belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the Visti-Pitch IV with the corresponding ADSV software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any business that believes it can provide a Visi-Pitch IV with the corresponding ADSV software may give written notice to ramone.pierce@va.gov by 19 February 2016. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code 334510 Electro Medical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Responses received from responsible sources by 3:00 pm EST on 19 February 2016 will be considered by the Government.
