- The original synopsis issued on 02/05/2016 is hereby revised to procure on a competitive basis the following: 1) Large capacity Centrifuge, that can process up to 12 liters of liquid at a time. The centrifuge must be able to have at least three different speeds that can be used during one run. The centrifuge must have a maximum speed greater than 4500 RPM. The centrifuge must be able to record run speeds and times for later analysis, part number 75007030/USNAVY (Quantity - 1 each) and 2) H-1200 Swing Bucket Rotor, part number 77080/USNAVY (Quantity - 1 each). *PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis this requirement, in accordance with FAR 12 and 13. This requirement is a manufacturer sole source to Fisher Scientific Company LLC, 4500 Turnberry Drive, Hanover Park, IL 60133-5491 due to unique capability. Fisher Scientific Company LLC is the only only known source that could manufacturers a unit that meet all the requirements. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The solicitation with specifications will be issued on or about 2/17/2016 and will be published on www.fbo.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to susan.wigfield@navy.mil or mailed to the Contracting Office Address listed below no later than 10 days from this notice date. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the item without causing programmatic hardship.
