CONTRACTORS QUESTIONS ANS RELATED GOVERNMENT ANSWERS Question 1: Can you please provide me with the serial numbers for the 4 AB Sciex mass spectrometers? Answer: AB Sciex MS 4000 Q Trap, serial # U18310703 AB Sciex API 4000, serial # V27491006 AB Sciex 4000 QTRAP, serial # AR26291102 AB Sciex API 4000, serial # V26891003 Question 2: Is this a PM service for the SCIEX MS only? Answer: PM service only for the Sciex MS. Question 3: Are the SCIEX systems currently under support or PM agreement? If so, with which company and what is the contract value? Answer: Yes, the SCIEX instruments are currently supported under an agency wide IDIQ for maintenance and PM services Contract #HHSF223201110030I which was awarded to American Biomedical Group, Inc. The contract has an estimated ceiling of $20 M. The specific amount for this equipment cannot be broken down because the value for these equipment are inclusive of other equipments. The CVM Division task order #HHSF22301022T under this contract has an estimated ceiling amount of $150,000. Question 4: Have the instruments required any repair services (outside of PM) in the last 18 months? If so, can you please provide a copy of the service reports. Answer: Yes, the service reports will be provided posted as an amendment to this solcitation. Question 5: Would the FDA be amenable to a site visit to inspect the equipment? Answer: Yes, a site visit. The site visit is scheduled for March 3, 2016, 12 PM -1:30 PM Eastern Time. The location of the site visit is: FDA/CVM MOD 2, 8401 Muirkirk Rd, Laurel, MD 20708. All interested contractors are encouraged to come to the site visit. Contractors shall RSVP with the contract specialist Howard S. Yablon at howard.yablon@fda.hhs.gov no later than February 26, 2016 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Site visit procedures will be emailed to all vendors who RSVP the Contract Specialist. Please note that questions will not be answered during the site visit. All questions must be submitted in writing and the answers will be posted to FEDBIZOPPS. Question 6: Is this a follow-on requirement? If so, could you please provide the incumbent contract number for this opportunity? Answer: Not a follow per se, this is a temporary contract, with a larger contract contemplated in the near future. Question 7: Is there a previous contract for this equipment? If so, can you provide the contract number? Answer: See Question #3 Question 8: Who is the vendor currently servicing the equipment? Answer: See Question #3 Question 9: What was the cost of the last year's contract and is this the same equipment as last year's contract?
