Description: The USDA Forest Service is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential certified HUBZone firms having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for (CFSL) HVAC Repairs & Energy Upgrades. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THERE IS NO POSTED SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform the contract services below, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, DUNS number, email address, Web site address (if any), and telephone number. Work for this project consists of HVAC system and building automation system replacement and energy upgrades at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory. Elements of work include replacement and integration of the Building Automation System (BAS); replacement of mechanical equipment, ducting and piping including fan coil units, air handling units, exhaust fans, heat recovery units, chilled water, steam and heating water system devices; window replacement; roof replacement; replacement of electrical panels and devices; associated testing, adjusting, balancing, and commissioning; and associated architectural and structural components. The price range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUBZONE CONCERNS OR SMALL BUSINESSES. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by March 14, 2016. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to DJRAPOZA@FS.FED.US.
