- This requirement is for NSN 6680-00-923-8466, Generator, Tachometer which is identified by Aircraft Appliances and Equipment, CAGE 35076, P/N TG255-007 and Ametek, Inc., CAGE 97424, P/N 2CM9ACF8. This is a Navy identified Critical Safety Item. The RFP will cover requirements for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a 1-year base period and four, 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted using other than full and open competition. The RFP will be issued for an estimated annual quantity of 243 each for the base year and each option year. Offers will be solicited with a delivery of 93 days ARO. Terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin covering DLA Direct requirements only. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Clause 252.225-7021, Trade Agreements applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. No Internet Quoting Service (IQS) or Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) quotes will be accepted for this solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
