Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Department requires Termite Control Services in a health care environment at the VA Illiana Healthcare System In Danville Illinois. The period of performance is May 1, 2016 to April 30, 2016, with an additional Four (4) One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is a Total set aside for Small Business, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 561710, with a size standard of $11.0 Million. The solicitation will issue February 26, 2016 and responses will be due on March 22, 2016 at 4PM CST. Please see attachments for solicitation submission details and requirements. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted by 12PM, Tuesday March 8th, 2016. Responses to RFI's shall be posted by COB Friday March 11, 2016. Please send all questions to kevin.adkins@va.gov The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, supplies, and/or materials necessary for adequately maintaining the existing in-ground and above-ground "Termite Colony Elimination Program" for approximately 12,550 linear feet as described herein. The "Termite Colony Elimination Program" shall consist of in-ground stations to ensure termite elimination and preventive protection. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted by 4PM., Tuesday March 8, 2016. Responses to RFI's shall be posted by COB 4PM Monday March 14, 2016. Solicitation Responses are due by 4PM Tuesday March 22, 2016.
