Description
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to 1) provide construction services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated; 2) secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements; 3) implement a successful project management plan that includes: compliance with tight program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; hiring and retention of key personnel and risk mitigation; and 4) compliance with LEED and SWPPP requirements. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. The magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Applicable NAICS for this requirement is 238160 Roofing contractors This requirement is for the Repair/Sustainment of the Munitions Maintenance Roofs, Multiple Facilities at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The work includes but is not limited to replacement replace the existing BUR roofs on buildings 1707, 1726, and 1714 with standing seam metal roofs. This will require a structural analysis of the existing structures to determine if change in wind loads will exceed the structural capabilities of the existing buildings. If calculations show that modifications to the existing structures are required then the Design-Build Firm shall design and construct the modifications. Building 1720 - 5,000 sf munitions storage building with steep slope corrugated metal roof to be replaced with a standing seam metal roof. Existing roof panels are asbestos containing transite panels. The existing truss system will remain with minor modifications. The existing lightning protection system will be replaced. Existing gutter system will be replaced. Existing gutter system will be replaced. Building 1734 - 5,952 sf munitions storage building with existing BUR roof to be replaced with a low slope standing seam metal roof. Existing gutter system shall be replaced. Deteriorated CMU block walls shall be repaired and painted. The existing lightning protection system shall be replaced. Refer to Drawings and specifications for a complete description of the scope and site work to install a new subsurface downspout drainage system. Building 1735 - 7,104 sf munitions storage building with existing BUR roof to be replaced with a low slope standing seam metal roof. Existing gutter system shall be replaced. Deteriorated CMU block walls shall be repaired and painted. The existing lightning protection system shall be replaced. Building 1706 - 950 sf security building requires roof and gutter replacement, removal of windows and infill with CMU, reconfiguration of interior spaces including toilet room, replacement of exterior siding and gutters, replacement of HVAC, and select electrical work. A new diesel engine generator and automatic transfer switch will be provided. Refer to Drawings and specifications for a complete description of the scope. Building 1707 - 1,485 sf munitions operations office requires interior renovations and exterior upgrades to resolve leakage issues at roof and wall including gutter replacement. Existing HVAC system shall be replaced and select electrical work performed. Building 1710 - 2,610 sf munitions receiving building with office, toilet/shower, and workbays to be renovated. Toilet/shower space shall be reconfigured. Existing windows shall be removed and filled in with CMU. Existing HVAC system shall be replaced and increased in capacity. New electrical service will be provided along with select electrical work. Existing dock has settlement and shall be repaired to improve water drainage. Existing gutter system shall be replaced. Building 1724 - 540 sf munitions unit storage building with exterior repair to CMU block walls.
