NSN: 2510-01-HS2-7761 PN: 70219-02119-107 PAN NSN: 4320-01-HS1-5331 PN: 975-553-89-2 PAN NSN: 1560-01-HS1-5554 PN: FDC-3100M30 TIE DOWN FITTING NSN: 5340-01-HS2-8407 PN: 70204-82016-136 PLATE NSN: U/K PN: FDC-1495-2 PAD EYE NSN: U/K PN: H165-1-051-1000 LATCH ASSY. (Are these required?) NSN: U/K PN: 70204-82004-052/-054 INSERT ASSY. (Are these required?) Answer 1: Yes, both the Latch Assy and the Insert Assy are required. These are to be replaced if corroded or damaged. Question 2: In addition to the parts listed in solicitation would the USCG consider supplying the following hardware if required? Hardware specifically made by the Coast Guard and difficult to procure hardware. Answer 2 : No. After contract award the Government may negotiate consideration for supplying additional parts. Answer 3: Yes. However please see response to Question 4. Question 4 In FAR 19.702(b)(3) it says subcontracting plans are not required for contracts completed entirely outside the United States. Does the requirement in the solicitation override the FAR 19.702(b)(3). Answer 4: No. If the work is completed outside the US, no subcontracting plan is required. Contractor must assert an exception in their proposal. Question 5: Would it be possible for you to provide a two week extension to the due date for responses? Answer 5: No extensions will be granted.
