Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE Joint Terminal Attack Control Contract Close Air Support (JTAC CCAS) Request for Information (RFI) Questionnaire Nellis Air Force Base (AFB) is conducting market research into potentially awarding a contract for JTAC CCAS. Please examine the following questions and provide a response to Capt Gallagher or Lt Martinez NLT 1200 PST on 10 March 2016. 1. What kind of aircraft does your company have that performs a training close air support mission? Please describe: a. Number of aircraft b. Type of aircraft c. Characteristics d. Performance e. Armaments (if any) f. Delivery profiles 2. Does your company have the ability to employ live munitions such as the BDU 33? What other munitions are you able/certified/qualified to drop? 3. Does your company have the ability to fire munitions from guns? If so, what kind of weapons are you able/certified/qualified to shoot? 4. Is your company Targeting Pod (TGP) capable? 5. Is your company Video downlink (VDL) and Digitally Aided CAS (DaCAS) equipped? 6. Is your company Laser Spot Track (LST) capable? 7. Is your company able to operate at night with Night Vision Devices (NVD)? 8. Is your company sparkle capable during terminal area delivery for dry sorties? Please describe. (i.e. Is there a distance you must cease sparkle during terminal area delivery in a MOA against manned targets for safety considerations?) 9. Is your company capable of simulating a 2-ship and re-attack timeline? Please describe. 10. What is the maximum number of simultaneous JTAC-manned OPs you are able to support? 11. How do you conduct debriefings? What locations and methods do you use? 12. Do you have the capability to debrief live controls, laser controls, and talk-ons? Describe any unique capabilities to debrief to these areas. 13. Please describe your pilot qualifications IAW JP 3-09.3 14.
