Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and FAR Subparts 13.302, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals/quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This constitutes the only notification before award. The solicitation reference number FA489-16-T-1002 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-86. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. Small business size standard is $7,500,000. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. ITEM 0001: Repair Media Recovery Trough IAW SOW (Qty: 12 Ea.). (See Attached SOW) The Government anticipates award on a best value basis. IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Acceptability offerors must verify they can meet all requirements of the SOW. 2. Price This will be a lowest price technically acceptable purchase. Technical acceptability will be determined based on characteristics stated in this solicitation. (d) Comptroller General Examination of Record. (1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract.
