Description

This notification is to announce the Mission and Installation Contracting Command's (MICC) - Fort Eustis, VA intent to issue a single source contract modification to BOS Security, Inc. for GSA task order W911S0-11-F-0047 in accordance with FAR subpart 5.301(a)(2)(i). The purpose of this modification is to extend the current services for an additional 8-months in order to facilitate the follow-on action for HQ TRADOCs Facility Access Control Requirement. This action is authorized under provisions of 10 United States Code 2304(c)(1) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(c) In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The original order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures. This modification is to allow time for the follow-on contract to be awarded by the Joint Base Langley Eustis 633rd Contracting Squadron. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. However, inquiries or concerns must be addressed in writing to justin.c.balster.civ@mail.mil no later than 10:00 am local time on 10 March, 2016. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
