Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Meggitt Training Systems - Target Systems, Parts, and Maintenance. Synopsis: MICC-West Point intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1(b)(1)(i), "Only one responsible source" based on the company being the sole developer and provider of the products and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with MEGGITT TRAINING SYSTEMS, INC. 296 BROGDON RD SUWANEE, GA, 30024-1247 for: Target systems, parts, and maintenance for a period of performance of a Base Year and Three (3) Option Years This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 03/07/2016 by 11:59 Eastern Standard Time (EST) by email to Richard.j.williams156.civ@mail.mil
