Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson, SC intends to make a sole source award to South Carolina Department of Administration Division of Technology Operations for the Fort Jackson Department of Emergency Service (DES) located at Fort Jackson, SC. The proposed contract action is for access to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Criminal Information Center (NCIC). This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Response to this notice must be received via email by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 7 March 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 922190. A solicitation will not be issued. The point of contract for this action is listed below: Charles E.
