- Solicitation Package Additional Notes to Offeror The scope of work may consist of all aspects of Architectural and Engineering Services for Repair & Alternation projects, Building Expansions and New Construction of lease and owned facilities in the State of Wisconsin. All work will be developed consistent with Postal Service Building Design Standards and associated Standard Design Criteria as issued by the Facilities Department. It is anticipated that multiple contracts may be awarded. The contract shall have a base term of two (2) years with the possibility of 2 (2) two-year bilateral renewal options. Work Orders for individual projects will be issued under the terms of the contract and shall not exceed a total of $500,000 each, and the total value of the contract shall not exceed $5,000,000. This contract will primarily cover the State of Wisconsin; however, the U. S. Postal Service reserves the right, to issue work orders ( bilaterally ) for work in other states. Firms possessing the qualifications to perform the services described below are invited to submit an electronic copy, in pdf format, of a completed SF 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, (also Part 2) for itself and for each of its proposed consultants no later than April 18, 2016 at 3:00pm, MST. The evaluation of firms for interview and award will be facilitated by using these forms. Criteria to be used in selection of firms for interview will be provided to firms responding to this advertisement in accordance with the instructions in the following order of preference: •1. Main or Branch office located within the State of Wisconsin. •2. Extensive experience in designing and supporting new construction projects, repair and alteration projects, and other projects similar in nature to those executed by the U. S. Postal Service. •3. A minimum of two (2) architects licensed and registered in the State of Wisconsin. •4. Licensed mechanical, electrical, structural and civil consulting engineers (unless provided in-house) licensed and registered in the State of Wisconsin. •5. Firms having the capacity to respond to multiple projects simultaneously. •6. Utilization of current AutoCAD software and appropriate standards and procedures. •7. Firms having been in business for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years and services as required in this notice. •8. Firms shall provide (at the time of contract award) a certificate of insurance that includes errors and omissions coverage of $500,000 per claim. •9. It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from award of a contract for this project. No other general notification for this project will be made. Submissions will not be retained or returned. This is not a request for proposals.
