- RFI-674-16-000005 The U.S. Agency for International Development's Mission to Southern Africa (USAID/SA) requests feedback from local and international organizations on the attached draft statement of work for the implementation of Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision service delivery activities in South Africa. This request for information is issued solely for the purpose of conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and FAR 15.201(e). This is not a solicitation or call for proposals. Any proposals submitted in response to this request will not be considered. USAID is seeking feedback on the attached draft statement of work for possible future activities to support high quality, high volume, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) service delivery and related services in rural and urban areas of South Africa. Organizations are requested to review, comment and suggest areas of improvement or clarifications on the anticipated requirements/tasks. In addition, USAID is currently assessing whether or not to include the coordination, forecasting, procurement, quality assurance, distribution and storage of VMMC surgical kits and commodities as part of the deliverables for this procurement and will consider feedback from this RFI in decision making. Responses to this notice must be received by no later than the due date and time stated on the cover letter to this notice. Submissions must be sent via email with "RFI-674-16-000005 FOR VOLUNTARY MEDICAL MALE CIRCUMCISION (VMMC) SERVICE DELIVERY" in the subject line of the email to Martha Zhou, Senior Acquisition and Assistance Specialist, at mzhou@usaid.gov Paper media or responses in any form other than email will not be considered. Submissions must be in English and must not exceed the equivalent of five (5) pages in Times New Roman 12 point font. Responses must include a point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. All information provided will become the property of USAID and will not be returned. USAID will not pay for information submitted nor will it reimburse for costs incurred by an organization that elects to respond to this request. All costs associated with responding to this request will be solely at the respondent's expense. USAID is in no way obligated to utilize submitted information or issue a solicitation as a result of this request. USAID is not obligated to procure any of the services described herein, nor should the release of this request be construed as such a commitment on the part of USAID. The issuance of this request will not restrict the Government's ultimate acquisition approach, if any. USAID reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for its purposes. Respondents are advised that USAID is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Any information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued.
