- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to post a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement GEOINT Visualization Services (GVS) on the Unclassified IC ARC. However, some portions of the RFP may be posted on the Classified IC ARC. Instructions will be provided at the time of the RFP posting. This acquisition is contemplated to promote and provide for full and open competition under the authority of FAR 6.100. The period performance for this contract is planned for five years (one base year and four options years) GVS provides applications to visualize GEOINT, as well as additional utilities and technologies that aid in visualization. The GVS enterprise is deployed across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS and several other external domains. The overall objective of GVS requirement is to use a cloud-based foundation and follow an agile software development methodology to provide an enterprise solution to sustain, improve and expand on a legacy GVS system and incorporate new features into the baseline while supporting customers and system throughout the National System for Geospatial- Intelligence. For assisting industry in evaluating and teaming for the GVS acquisition, all instructions to Offerors and solicitation documents (PWS, RFP, Bidders Library etc) were made available on the Classified Intelligence Community (IC) ARC in a Draft RFP Package. All capable Offerors interested in the GVS Requirement are encouraged to review the Final RFP documents that will be made available following this synopsis window. The RFP will remain open for 45 day period after the synopsis period closes. There will be another opportunity for prospective Offerors to submit question for limited time during the open and close window of the RFP. Instructions will provided in the RFP. This synopsis is posted to encourage small business access to acquisition information and enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities.
