Description

The purpose of this amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation is as follows: 1.Provide a revised Performance Work Statement (PWS). Note: paragraph 3. and sub-paragraph 3.1 were revised. The revised PWS dated Mar 3, 2016 is attached. 2.Provide answers to questions/clarifications received in response to this combined synopsis solicitation. Questions and Answers are listed below. Questions/Clarifications and Answers: Question 1. Could you please clarify under paragraph 5. "Safety Precautions", sub-paragraph 5.6 "All traps and bait trays will be inspected every 24 hours while in service." Answer 1. In the event that there is an emergency treatment for any type of pests and traps and bait trays are to be installed, a more aggressive IPM follow up is to be in place by inspecting and visiting areas every 24 hours while in service and until control is met. Contractor will use non-pesticide method of control whenever possible. Question2. Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number VA24816Q0270 contain requirements similar to a current contract? If possible, please provide the current contract number. Or, is this a new requirement for the government? Answer 2. This is a follow-on requirement of a current contract; the current contract number is VA248-P-1585.
