Description

The Coast Guard intends to award a sole source procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to provide Wonderware SCADA software, software support, and training for The Coast Guard Training Centers' Waste Water Treatment Facility operators and SCADA maintenance personnel to INDUSTRIAL SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS-WONDERWARE, L.L.C. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but a Determination by the Government not to compete as a result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
