Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to provide solid waste removal and recycling. This is contract solicitation with an anticipated period of performance beginning the Date of Award until the completion of one (1) full year with four (4) one (1) year options at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The goal of the VA CWM Healthcare System program is to meet the mandated goal to achieve a 50% or greater recycling rate. The applicable NAICS code is 561998 and the size standard is $7.5 Million. Award will be based on a technically acceptable offer that represents the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors are described in the solicitation provision 52.212-2. The solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation package will be made available on or about 3/4/2016. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All interested parties MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAMS) Database. If you are not registered with SAMS, you may access at http://www.sam.gov.
