- tent to Sole Source - Annual DNASTAR Network Service Plan Description(s): The National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order to DNASTAR 3801 Regent Street, WI 53705, for Annual DNASTAR Network Service Plan, for equipment which is installed at NIEHS, Research Triangle Park campus. The provided supplies and services are proprietary and the services will be provided for the period of April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2019. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the business size standard is $7.5 million dollars. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that DNASTAR Inc. is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required services and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to obtain a DNA/protein analysis software package consisting of seven integrated modules that are linked by a data manager. A package which assists with, DNA sequence editing, mapping, annotation, and automated virtual cloning; DNA sequencing manager, assembly of multiple sequence into contiguous sequences, contig management, and SNP Discovery; Multiple and pairwise sequence alignments. Provides flexible tools for customizing output for presentation and publication and also provides Oligonucleotide design and analysis. One which has a comprehensive set of tools enables design and analysis of primers for PCR, sequencing, hybridization, transcription, and Protein structure analysis and prediction. It must also include a comprehensive suite of protein analysis tools for defining physicochemical properties of protein sequences; Gene Discovery and Sequence Annotation. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and shall be emailed to Christopher Fisher at Christopher.fisher@nih.gov and are due by 1:00PM ET on March 18, 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
