Description

SLAC seeks vendors that can provide One (1) each of a Flat Jet with two colliding micro jets in accordance with the following minimum specifications: • Water sheet within 0.5 to 3 µm thick • Area of planar extent at least 200×200 µm, with thickness varying by less than ±20% • Surface roughness of 0.2 µm RMS or less over that planar area • Sub-minute fluctuations less than 10 µm in direction and 20% in thickness • Longer-term fluctuations up to once every 10 minutes, less than 500 µm in direction and 20% in thickness • Angular stability within ±2° • Compatible with operation in air and high vacuum • XYZ motion control to align jet assembly to interaction point in vacuum chamber • Water vapor throughput less than 2 mbar L/s • All in-vacuum components mounted on a standard vacuum flange 40 - 200 mm THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
