- Description
- SYNOPSIS: The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego (SWRMC) intends to issue a solicitation for logistical support services to be provided to the SWRMC Production Department Product Families. The logistical services will provide U.S. Navy ship-related and SWRMC shop-related support to all of the SWRMC Product Family shops, as well as SWRMC Facilities Division and Dive Locker through sourcing and ordering best-priced, technically acceptable ship and shop maintenance and repair materials, repair parts, and services. The normal place of performance will be at the Contractor's facility which shall to be located within 30 miles of Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), as well as aboard NBSD for the purpose of deliveries and meetings. In addition ship maintenance and repair crane services may occasionally be required aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, and Naval Base Point Loma. This is an 8(a) small business set-aside. The offeror is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror shall have a NAVSEA approved Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of proposal submission. The Government intends to contract for a base year period and 4 one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS will be "336611" Business size: 1,250 employees.
