Description

SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service/material: The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, supervision, supplies, materials, parts, components, equipment, tools, and transportation to perform frame repairs and undercoating services for government owned buses. Work shall be performed at the Contractor ™s facility in Okinawa, Japan to return bus frames back to within manufacturer ™s standards. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Okinawa Fuso Jidosha Co. Ltd., 495-5, Minatogawa, Urasoe, 901-2134, Okinawa, Japan with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Okinawa Fuso Jidosha Co. Ltd. is the sole source to provide the service/material needed because they are the proprietary source that can provide this service/material. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811111. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 04:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on 22 March, 2016.
