- HSCGG1-16-B-PFA019 ISSUE DATE: MARCH 25 2016 The Hamilton Hall phone server room is currently served by two split DX ceiling mounted fan coils located above the server racks within the server room. The system is over 16 years old, causes temperature-humidity fluctuations which is sensitive to the server equipment and requires significant maintenance effort. The project consists of all work, including all labor and materials, necessary to replace HVAC system in the Phone Server Room located in Hamilton Hall at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. The scope of work under this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Replace two (2) split DX fan coils with R- 410a refrigerant. Locate fan coils in the Mechanical Room adjacent to the Server Room; provide new ductwork distribution system. 2. Remove two (2) window AC units and restore windows. Remove two (2) floor mounted unit heaters abandoned in place. 3. Repair and patch fire rated wall located between the Mechanical Room and the Server Room. 4. Relocate light fixture, conduit, wire, fire alarm transmitter and remove electrical trough as per plans. The performance period is estimated to be 4 months (with four weeks on site). The estimated value of the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 25 March 2016. The tentative date set for receipt of bids is scheduled for 26 April 2016 at 2:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 and is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns.
