- The 934th Airlift Wing will be soliciting for four (4) Projects to be awarded as one contract for the following: 1) QJKL 14-0010A, Repair Fire Suppression Pumphouse 2) QJKL 14-0010B, Add/Alter Fire Suppression Pumphouse 3) QJKL 16-0002A, Demolish Fire Protection Water Tank 4) QJKL 16-0002B, Construct Parking Lot Addition Bldg 804 Note: Line items 2 and 4 are subject to a statutory cost limitation of $1M Work to be performed within NAICS code: 237110 size standard $36.5M. Work includes (but is not limited to): QJKL 14-0010A, Repair Fire Suppression Pumphouse - Remove existing window and "block-in" with CMU. Provide new exterior finish with new brick veneer at the base (approximately 4' high) and pre-finished insulated metal panels. Remove and replace existing pump testing manifold. Replace existing garage door. Paint all other exterior doors along with any exposed metal trim. Remove existing EDPM roof and replace with new PVC membrane roof. QJKL 14-0010B, Add/Alter Fire Suppression Pumphouse - Demolish existing 150 SF wooden "lean-to" addition located on east side of existing building. Construct addition on the east side of building consisting of concrete footings / foundation walls, CMU walls with brick veneer, concrete floor, PVC membrane roof, etc. Alter existing building by constructing new opening on east wall of existing building, re-configuring the locations of the two existing 2500 GPM pumps, modifying the existing pumps by adding Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs), Reduced Pressure Principle (RPZ) backflow assemblies, Pump Suction Control Valves (PSCVs), etc. Modify exterior water main components so that existing water service permanently by-passes the demolished water storage tank and services the pumps directly. QJKL 16-0002A, Demolish Fire Protection Water Tank - Disconnect and/or isolate all water and/or electrical services currently connected to the existing water tank. Remove and dispose of all tank components that have materials suspected of containing asbestos. Demolish and remove existing 200,000 gallon above ground water storage tank. Backfill as necessary and accomplish minimal landscaping work to establish new turf, etc. QJKL 16-0002B, Construct Parking Lot Addition Bldg 804 - Strip existing topsoil. Excavate as necessary and provide new aggregate base course. Construct new concrete curb and gutter and asphalt pavement. Provide pavement markings for new parking spaces. Accomplish miscellaneous landscaping work. Location is at the Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station (MSPARS), Minneapolis MN. Performance period is 120 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is contemplated IAW FAR part 14 with a 30 day response time after issuance of solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Part 19.5, and is issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, competitive IFB. Magnitude of acquisition is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation, specifications, drawings, wage determination and any other applicable documents will be available via electronic means on this website under solicitation #FA6633-16-B0001, on or about 29 February 2016. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from WWW.FBO.GOV All contractors must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible to receive award http://www.sam.gov and have completed the On-line Representations and Certifications at that site. Planholders lists will not be maintained, interested vendors should sign up on this web site in the "Interested Vendor List" (IVL) tab to receive notices and "watch" the opportunity for any updates. A site visit will be conducted as identified in the IFB, Section L, FAR Clause 52.236-27 "Site Visit (Construction)"; Potential bidders - prime contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers may attend any site visits upon written advance notification to the assigned Contract Specialist, see FAR Clause 52.236-27 for required security information instructions. Requests for maps to Bldg 729 (Contracting Office) are available upon request.
