Description
The Naval Air systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Level of Effort Increase to the existing Cost Plus Fixed Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00019-15-D-1000 with The Boeing Company for Post Production Support Services (PPS). This LOE increase will include an increase in not only scope but Period of Performance as well. PMA-257 is soliciting continued support from the OEM for T/AV-8B sustaining Engineering and Integrated Logistics (ILS) support required to maintain the T/AV-8B during the PPS phase of the aircraft's life cycle. Specific Engineering Support Services include providing technical support to the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and AV-8B aircraft and associated systems, subsystems and ancillary equipment. Such support shall include, but not be limited to: engineering analyses, suitability evaluations, effectiveness evaluations and on-site support of failure, incident, and development of repair concepts, engineering and accident investigations, and investigation and generation of technical alerts. Logistics support includes supporting a Harrier Data library. RAMECS, Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM$R) Code changes, Rapid Manufacturing Capability Support, Technical Directives (TDs), and Interim Change Notices (ICNs) not originated by a Class I ECP.
