- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Integrum AB, Molndal 43137, Sweden however If interested Government shall consider all responses. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) 1 per FAR 6.302-1 (c). Description: This is a bone anchored implant system, Integrums orthopedic implantsystem is a bone anchored system based on osseointegration, where the prosthesesare directly attached to the bone. Osseointergration technology is particulary attractive for individuals with blast-and otherwise combat-related amputations. The NAICS code for this action is 541712. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems For Award Management (SAM).
