- N00164-16-R-JN39 - SOLE SOURCE - SPARE AND REPAIR PARTS AND TRAINING AIDS FOR 84MM CARL-GUSTAF M3/E1 RECOILLESS (RCL) RIFLE AND ASSOCIATED SUB-CALIBER TRAINING DEVICES/ADAPTERS - FSC 10 - NAICS - 332994 Anticipated Issue Date 21 APR 2016 - Anticipated Closing Date 27 MAY 2016 - Time 02:00 PM EST The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, anticipates awarding a four year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with SAAB Dynamics AB, Karlskoga S-69180, CAGE SF413, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This proposed procurement is for spare and repair parts and training aids for 84mm Carl-Gustaf M3/E1 recoilless rifle and associated sub-caliber training devices/adapters. This acquisition is under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 332994, Small Arms, Ordnance and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing. The anticipated contract award maximum is $5,000,000.00. The FOB point shall be FOB Destination: NSWC Crane. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will normally not be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive controlled documents. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. A formal solicitation will not be issued on www.fbo.gov. Interested parties may contact the POC below.
