The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Illumina for the procurement of an annual 6 month service contract for Genome Analyzer (s/n 3001569) and cBot equipment (s/n 600409) Period of Performance: 4/9/16 - 10/31/16 This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NOI-RML-E-1782684. This acquisition is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-86-2, effective February 1, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 with a small business size standard of ($20.5M). This requirement is not set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has a need for a service agreement on existing Illumina Equipment. Equipment to be covered: Genome Analyzer (s/n 3001569) and cBot equipment (s/n 600409) This agreement must be invoiced quarterly in arrears. Illumina is the manufacturer, and this equipment must be serviced by Illumina certified technicians. All agreements must provide •Corrective Repair (travel, Parts & Labor) OEM parts and certified technicians •Provide 1 Preventative Maintenances within the POP •Provide a system spare parts kit •Provide calibration/performance verification •Remedial repair as needed •Emergency Service, including unlimited service calls during normal hours •Preventive maintenance may be combined with emergency repair service if the timing of the normal preventative maintenance schedule is close and with the acceptance of the laboratory. •Provide all necessary OEM parts and equipment necessary to perform remedial repair and planned maintenance of the above equipment. FOB Point shall be Destination; Bethesda, MD 20814.
