- Description
- ****************************************************************************************************************** Note to vendors: The Forest Service (FS) is establishing an agenda for the Interagency Computer Aided Dispatch Standardization (CADS) Market Research Industry Day. We will share the agenda with registered vendors no later than Friday, March 11, 2016. The government presentation will begin at 8:00 am MST on March 15 at the Towne Place Suites Boise West in Meridian, ID and simultaneously on a teleconference line (call in number will be included in the final agenda). The FS strongly encourages vendors to submit questions in advance of the event via email to fsaqmisb@fs.fed.us with "Questions - IDIP CAD Industry Day" as the subject line, to better enable the government to respond to all questions. The deadline for submission of questions is extended to Noon MST on Friday, March 11. The government will attempt to address as many questions as possible during their presentation and will entertain additional questions as time allows. The FS will transcribe the session and will post the transcript to the FedBizOpps site RFI announcement as soon as practicable. The FS agenda will allow the government Integrated Project Team (IPT) some time to view IT/CAD platforms of the interested vendors in closed, single-vendor presentations. We are tentatively allocating up to one hour on Tuesday or Wednesday for vendors attending in person and up to one hour on Wednesday for telephonic vendor participants. Vendors should present on the COTS system, company capability in response to each of the 13 requirement categories in the RFI, and demonstrate incident lifecycle (e.g. initial report/assigning resources/final report). During these breakout? sessions, the IPT may question the vendors on items such as cost/pricing structure; product licensing issues; projected timelines for development, testing and implementation; and additional features/capabilities beyond those described in the RFI. Vendors must reply no later than COB THURSDAY to affirm their interest in presenting to the IPT. Please reply with the following details to enable us to schedule around items such as scheduled departure times: Vendors attending in person: Provide range of time availability on March 15 - 16, and approximate amount of time requested not to exceed one hour. The IPT will provide a projector if needed. Vendors wishing to present via teleconference: Provide availability on March 16 and approximate amount of time requested not to exceed one hour. The IPT will consider viewing presentations via web meeting if the vendor sets up the link. PLEASE RESPOND TO fsaqmisb@fs.fed.us
