Back of Unit2 Questions Serial Number Panel Back of Unit Panel Back of Unit3 Questions discussed at Site Visit conducted 3/7/2016: Please clarify the serial number of the unit? • The Serial Number in the Solicitation was listed incorrectly The correct serial number is B270291. What are the age and manufacturer of the UPS unit? • The UPS is approximately 7-8 years old. It was manufactured by Chloride but sold as a Lightolier product. Battery requirement clarification? • The existing batteries in the unit are not what is currently requested in the solicitation. The battery specified in the solicitation is 100 AMP-HR with specifications as detailed in the solicitation. Battery information in your quote should include verifiable battery specifications and warranty information. What type of grease should be used to coat the connections for each battery post? • The contractor shall provide and use dielectric grease to coat the connections for each battery post and all hardware required to connect battery cables. What are the specifications of the freight elevator to be used for movement of batteries? • The freight elevator for moving the batteries is rated for 5,000 load capacity and has a 54" clear door opening, 8' door height and 8'-3 1/2" cargo length. What are specifications of the loading dock available for delivery of product? • The loading dock is setup for standard semi or straight trucks with a load leveler at each dock station. Is a service manual available for this unit? • A service manual is not available for distribution although it may be available through online sources should you require it. Are food and drink allowed on the work site? • Food is allowed on the work site but is not allowed in the UPS room or near the battery site itself. • Drink is allowed on the work site and in the UPS room but is not allowed within reach of the battery site itself and must be in a re-sealable bottle.
