Description
The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement for American National Standards Institute (ANSI) S12.6 Real Ear Attenuation at Threshold (REAT) testing. REAT testing provides a measure of the real-world attenuation of a hearing protection device by measuring the audiometric thresholds of a group of individuals with and without the device under test. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The Government intends to procure as a Commercial Item using the procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 through Simplified Acquisition Procedures (commercial items) under NAICS 621340 with a size standard of $7,500,000. The solicitation will result in one Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) award. Award will be made to the offeror who is deemed Technical Acceptable with the Lowest Price. All responsi¬ble sources may submit a proposal which shall be consid¬ered for award. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. All interested parties are responsible for obtaining the solicitation documents through FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/). Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Information regarding registration can be obtained from the SAM link at https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/##11#1. The estimated issuance of the solicitation is on or about 23 March 2016 and the estimated proposal due date is on or about 6 April 2016.
